Cyberscanning
SPECTRAL’s 120-camera cyberscan (full-body scanner) employs a dense array of high-resolution cameras to capture comprehensive 3D images of subjects from multiple angles simultaneously. Its advanced software seamlessly stitches together captured images to create highly detailed and accurate representations of scanned objects or individuals. This technology is mandatory when working with live animals or people, because the slightest movements can result in incomplete or inaccurate scans.
Lidar Scanning
Our LiDAR service at SPECTRAL SERVICES delivers unmatched precision in spatial and environmental mapping, ensuring high-quality data capture in every condition. Our LiDAR systems provide detailed 3D representations of physical spaces, essential for accurate previsualization, matchmoving and VFX integration. Our experienced crew excels in on-set presence, adept at navigating the complexities of live production environments to capture comprehensive data without disrupting the creative process.
Mocap on location
As per definition, motion capture (MoCap) is a technique used in the film, gaming and medical industries to capture the movements of actors, extras and/or stunts and translate them into digital data. This data is then used to animate digital characters in a virtual environment, creating realistic motions that mimics the original performance.
Cross - Polarized Photography
Our Cross-Polarized Photography service harnesses the power of sophisticated lighting techniques to capture textures and surface details with extraordinary clarity and depth. This specialized photographic process eliminates reflections and glare, revealing the true colors and intricate details of the subject matter. Medium Format Texture Photography
SPECTRAL uses medium format photography for capturing textures. With a 100MPx camera that has 68% more sensor size than a regular full frame camera, we can capture more pixels per shot, giving us 16K textures instantly in every frame. Larger sensors also give us more dynamic range, color depth and superior and more realistic colors overall.
