SPECTRAL services provided on Eric:

On the Netflix mini series ‘Eric’, the SPECTRAL SERVICES team was commissioned with the task of scanning a scrap collecting ship while it was on water that is featured in the 4th episode. Moving subjects are almost impossible to scan, and flying above water with a drone has its own risk factor, so the team had to be very careful when scanning the ship.

This shoot took place at the harbour of the Csepel industrial area, in Budapest’s 23rd district where the team also scanned other parts of the industrial harbour of around 320.000m2 that stood in for New York’s Hudson river and port .

One of the warehouses in the port was dressed up as a garbage disposal site that the team also scanned along with parts of the city’s M3 metro tunnel, which was dressed up as an alleyway.

A series set in the 80s New York can’t be complete without the most visited NY corner in Hungary, the New York backlot of Korda film studios in Etyek, which was also scanned by the team to help further enhance the scenes.
