Poor Things

SPECTRAL services provided:
- Photogrammetry for props and miniatures
- LiDAR scanning with texture photography for built sets SPECTRAL’s work on Poor Things included scanning miniatures for the Art and PR Departments and digitising of various parts of the built sets including iconic sets like the Paris square and brothel house, the bars and hotel of the Lisbon set, the restaurant and slum in Alexandria and the entirety of the ship.
The team also completed photogrammetry on the set miniatures, like London Bridge, Alfie’s house and Alexandria. However, the biggest challenges came from the smallest mockups. Shiny, smooth surfaces and small sizes of the cable car, the tram or the ship mockups really tested the team and its equipment but they overcame these and were able to make the most out of these props.
